A new vertically integrated serice unit on the Markopoulo - Peania avenue

HERTZ’s presence at the new “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport is complemented by a new vertically integrated service unit on the Markopoulo-Peania avenue, thus reaching a number of six service units, to include a customer service station, repair garage, car body repair shop, car wash, parking etc.

Additionally, new branch offices are in operation in Chios (town and airport), Alexandroupolis, Ag. Ioannis beach in Pelion, as well as in Athens at Agia Paraskevi and Peristeri. With these additions, total HERTZ branches in Greece number more than 110, remaining the most extensive network of the Greek market.

Throughout the year 2001 the company maintains its top position among the car rental companies, its market share being the greatest in all rental categories, with also its fleet of vehicles which today exceeds 15,500.

Regarding HERTZ AUTOHELLAS’s share of the Greek market, and specifically, in the Fleet Management sector, the company has long held first place with its fleet of over 9,500 cars. In the Rent-a-Car sector the company, with 6,000 cars, continues in first position.
