HERTZ receives the award for the "World"s Best Car Rental Company"

The award for the world’s best car rental company was recently received by Hertz International.

The award was presented to Hertz Europe President Charles Shafer, at a ceremonial function attended by HRH Princess Anne, The Princess Royal and other distinguished guests.

In Mr. Shafer’s words: “We are extremely proud to have won this award, which is a recognition of the high service standard and quality product that Hertz offers. It is a clear reflection of the hard work and dedication of our staff over the last 12 months, the significant contributions of our many industry partners, and particularly the confidence of our corporate customers and their employees”. He went on to say: “Hertz has never been a company to rest on its laurels. We will continue to work hard in the coming months and years to ensure that our customers go on enjoying world class service provided in the most efficient manner possible.”

It is noteworthy that Hertz International is active in more than 140 countries worldwide, with a sales network in excess of 7000 branch offices.
