Car Rental Additional Coverages
Every car rental with Autohellas Hertz includes collision damage waiver and a 24/7 road assistance from Interamerican. However, you always expect the unexpected. Fortunately Autohellas Hertz has a range of additional coverages to travel with peace of mind!
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW): Reduce your liability to a minimum charge, according to the car group you have picked, by paying an additional small fee in the price of CDW.
The following cases are not covered:
- Damage to the underside of the car
- Damage to the wheels & tires
- Broken car glass
- Loss of the vehicle keys and documents.
Theft Protection (TP)3: Choose Theft Protection to reduce your financial responsibility in case of theft of the rented car to a minimum charge, based on the car group you have chosen.
Personal Accident Coverage (PAC): Autohellas Hertz covers you in case of an accident.
Young driver surcharge: Allows customers aged 19 & 20 years old to rent a category A, B, Z, J and V2 vehicle under the condition that they hold a drivers license for at least 12 months prior to the pickup day. Young drivers cannot add to their rental Super CDW or Super cover.
Ferryboat Travel Cover (FBF): Allowed only with the prior written approval of Autohellas Hertz and provided that the customer has accepted the Ferry boat fee. Otherwise, the renter is liable for all damages caused to the rented vehicle during its transfer, regardless of any coverage and liability restrictions accepted and paid at the start of the rental. The ferry boat fee is available for purchase locally at any Autohellas Hertz station.
