HERTZ ROMANIA named "Best Business Partner" by Amadeus Romania SRL

Sepoy International Tourism SRL, a franchisee of Hertz, the world’s largest car rental company, has been named "Best Business Partner" in the Rent-a-Car category, by leading distribution system and technology provider, Amadeus Romania SRL.

The awards are the first ever to be held by Amadeus and were announced at a ceremony held in the magnificent Atheneum Concert Hall in Bucharest on the 15 October 2001.

Hertz was declared the outright winner of the "Best Business Partner" award, based on the number of accesses made by its reservations agents to Amadeus' GDS (Global Distribution System). An Amadeus 'globe' trophy was presented to General Manager of Sepoy International Tourism, Jean-Alain Grumbach, by Mr Razvan Antoni, General Manager of Amadeus Romania SRL.

Speaking at the awards ceremony Mr Antoni said: "In the last five years Amadeus Romania has been making itself a name for providing its customers with leading technology and consistent service. We are delighted with the success of the operation, which is due to the partnerships of our customers. Tonight we want to thank them for their excellent co-operation and, with this occasion, to launch the first edition of Amadeus Awards - for the contribution to the development of the Romanian travel industry".
